Next Phase of Voovees.com – Calling for Private Beta Users
Many of you no doubt already know ZenCub3d’s development have slowed, and
probably many of you noticed that we’ve been promoting Voovees.com. The cleverest among you have asked us whether the development of ZenCub3d and Voovees.com are actually linked, and finally, we can confirm this to you with a big fat, YES.
As you’re no doubt aware if you’ve been following this blog, voovees.com is currently a public site where everyone can make some basic dialogue changes to pre-made animations, and while ZenCub3d’s technology doesn’t currently have an active role in this, other than as the engine of choice to make these animations off site, that will change.
Voovees Phase 2 Coming Soon, Baby!
The current voovees.com is regarded as our ‘phase 1′ on our development vision, and with ‘phase 2′ looming on the horizon, we are granting users to a very limited, very exclusive close-beta sign up. First come, first serve.
While I won’t go into the details, I can tell you right now that ‘phase 1′ and ‘phase 2′ are VASTLY different.

When the private beta period starts, all of you that signed up with be notified how to get your beta user accounts.
After the private beta stage started, new user accounts will be obtained by invitation only, so it’s better to sign up now if you get the chance.

Current ZenCub3d and/or voovees.com phase 1 users do not automatically get entry into the closed beta, so it’s essential to sign up.
EDIT: due to popular demands, we’ve doubled our initial allocation from 300 to 600, and they are still going fast, so be in quick.

although i think i’ve managed to figure out what phase 3 might be, i’m still a little confused as to what might be in phase 2… i guess the only way to figure it out is to sign up!
I have however spotted something missing from the current voovees site… it seems obvious now i’ve spotted it’s not there, but there really ought to be a search bar (probably top right under the username | account | logout links…
especially since you’re putting up more and more videos now… there seems to be no particular way of finding specific things, you have to hope that it’s going to be in the latest parodies links, or the top viewed, or possibly in the similar parodies list on a video page…
in a few months time, if someone wants to make a twilight parody, how will they find the relevant vids to make it?
