We are the Mermaid Boys~~
What does the title mean? It’s sort of a long story… Let’s just say a cool dude from Google told us to make that announcement to the world, LOL.
We (the whole team here at ThinkingCactus) had a great weekend Wellington attending the X|Media|Lab, being held at Te Papa, in fact I pretty much just got off the plane from Wellington and I had to put something up on the blog.
Essentially X|Media|Lab is a conference about helping young startups, bring them in touch with leading business mentors from around the world to brainstorm ideas to take the business forward. We’ve been really lucky to be one of the chosen companies to take part in this event, since apparently the apply-chosen ratio is extremely stark, and after this weekend it was obvious why so many companies wanted to take part.
Now filled with lots of stories and lots of advices from mentors, there’s undoubtedly going to be a lot of long meetings internally about where we’re going. Our company values and philosophies will stay the same, though other major changes are on their way. Watch out. 
On behalf of ThinkingCactus I would like to give our deepest and most sincerely thanks to all the mentors and other companies that we interacted with, and I wish you all the best, and we’ll keep in contact. A lot of you we’re going to call very soon.
